New students need to complete an accommodation application to be considered for accommodation offer under the Accommodation Guarantee (if eligible). 2024 accommodation applications open on 1 September 2023.

Admissions,Scholarship & Accommodation (ASA) Applicants:

If you have made a direct application to ASA please DO NOT complete another accommodation application. Please follow instructions in your offer letter.

Important things to remember

  • You should apply for accommodation BEFORE you are offered an academic place at ANU.
  • Your preference for a particular student residence will be considered but ARE NOT guaranteed;
  • An accommodation offer may be for a residence other than your preference and costs may vary;
  • Accommodation offers will be made via email. You must check your email regularly, if you miss your offer it will lapse and you will be unlikely to receive another offer;
  • You cannot apply directly to the student residences. The one application covers all University Accommodation locations.

There are accommodation options available to new University staff, visiting fellows and HDR students located on-campus. To continue with a booking application continue to ANU Apartments.

New students

New students need to complete an accommodation application to be considered for your preference under the Accommodation Guarantee (if eligible). 2023 accommodation applications open on 1 September 2022 and close 20 December 2022 (midnight) to be considered for the Accommodation Guarantee. Applications received after this date will be processed as a non guaranteed application.

Current residents

You can check your account details, log maintenance jobs and make payments to your telephone account, just log-in with your email address and password and select 'Account'.

If you wish to apply for a transfer or to return to your current residence please DO NOT submit an online application unless you have been advised to do so.
